I have know Paul from Toronto since the 60's. We were at U of T at the same time. He was a great football player and athlete. We did a project called UKSOR where 40 Ukrainians and 40 French speaking from Quebec toured across Canada singing and dancing. Paul was one of the persons hired to set up plans, etc out west. I was glad that approx. 2 years aGO I WENT WITH A FEW FRIENDS RO VISIT PAUL AS WELL AS THE LATE Bill Balan. WE ALL GREW UP TOGETHER AND IT WAS A PLEASURE TO VISIT THEM WHEN THEY WERE SICK. Also the best to Hod's family. It is a shame but Paul is reunited with his parents and sister and brother, who we all knew and loved as well. - Posted by: GEORGE STROHYJ (friend) on: Jul 03, 2023

I met Paul when we were teenagers at St. Andrew's College Summer School. Over the years, our paths crossed only occasionally within the Ukrainian Canadian community. Paul stayed true to his Ukrainian roots. My condolences to his family and friends. Вічная пам'ять! - Posted by: Leona Faryna Bridges (Acquaintance) on: Jul 02, 2023

I settled in Vancouver in the fall of 1969, but often visited Winnipeg in the 70s and 80; I recall Paul's enthusiasm for his work and his zest for life which he expressed whenever we got together. He was a very positive person and will sorely be missed by his family and many friends. We send our love and condolences. Allan & Heather Prochuk - Posted by: Allan Prochuk (cousin) on: Jun 27, 2023

Lorraine and family.. I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I have known Paul since the early 80's and have fond memories of him. He was a fighter and never gave up. We enjoyed talking about our Winnipeg Jets and Bombers. Of course Golf too. He will be missed!!! I am happy he had soo much support from family and friends especially his devoted assistant Jennifer who always kept us at Cassidy Ramsay updated. He will be missed greatly but is at peace now probably playing 18 holes as we remember him. RIP my friend. - Posted by: Cathie Rempel (Friend and co-worker) on: Jun 26, 2023
