GEORGE ALLAN MARTINUK
Peacefully, at Grace Hospital surrounded by those that loved him, George went home to be with God.
George was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Mary Martinuk (nee Homenick); brother Michael James (Jim) Martinuk; and sister Kathleen (Kathy) Fredette (nee Martinuk).
George leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years, Frances; sons, John (Eleanor), Shawn (Chasity); granddaughters, Cynthia and Opal; brothers, Robert and Timothy (Beth); brother in-law Ken Fredette; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospital Emergency for their love and support as well as a special thank you to Miranda Gillies for her love and care for George while in Grace Hospital numerous times over the past few months.
The family would like to invite you to share in the celebration of George's life at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church at 390 Marion Street, Winnipeg on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Father Darren Kawiuk presiding. Luncheon to follow.
