FLORENCE MARLO JULIUS
On July 22, 2023 our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Marlo was born in Nova Scotia on January 22, 1939 and lived there with cousin Shirley, who was like a sister to her, before moving to Winnipeg. Marlo met her husband Gord and was married to him for 48 years until his passing in 2005. Marlo and Gord raised their family in St. James. She was employed with the federal government until her retirement in 1999. After retirement, Marlo volunteered at the SBGH for 20 years during which time she met her companion Eddie, with whom she spent the remainder of her years.
Marlo is survived by her sons, Dale (Grace) and Darryl. Her grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Brian, Trevor, Jonah and Chloe; their spouses and her seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marlo’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
