Through the final weeks of his remarkable life he was surrounded by his family who shared their love and support until his last breath.

Ainslie and I offer our condolences to all Al's family. Al and I knew each other for 35 years and became very good friends (along with Mary with the smiling face) while he was the Union President and I the Union Business Manager. During that time a book could be written. I miss our time together with extended conversations. He was a person that always had his feet planted firmly on the ground. The Elevator Trade was good to us but time is something we cannot slow down as Duncan can allude to.
