My heart goes out to my Aunt and cousins. Uncle Terry was a rock in my life and although I am deeply saddened, I cannot imagine what you're going through. Although Uncle Terry's humor sometimes got to me, it was easy to see through because he cared so much. When I was going to university, Uncle always brought me computer shopping when I needed a new one and he dragged me all across Winnipeg insuring I got the best deal. Another memory, on many many occasions, he had me, my friends, and my friends children, over to the condo for tea, or lunch or a swim. Aunty and Uncle always made me feel welcome and safe. I miss you Uncle, but I have many fond memories to hold close to my heart. Like you and Uncle Michael tickling me on the floor of Nana and grandpa's kitchen till I pee'd. - Posted by: John Campbell (Nephew) on: Sep 08, 2023

Brigitte and Terry were in our Bridal Party for our wedding in May of 1975. Terry along with the best man and the other groomsmen took Leon out on the town the night before the wedding. That was a custom from the 70’s. The guys did not pay for Leon’s supper but did pay for all his drinks! ! The guys ran through the fountain at Portage and Main, to start the evening! The bridesmaids and the bride to be on the other hand had a quiet evening supper at Mother Tuckers and then called it an evening! Leon and Wilma - Posted by: Wilma Geurts (Friend) on: Aug 05, 2023

Terry and Brigitte began their love story after meeting in 1971 at a house party I cohosted ! Brigitte and Terry joined us on many dates that included socials, New Year Eve parties and family get togethers. Terry loved to tease, joke around and always was a lot of fun to be with! I had the honour of being the organist at their January wedding in 1974. A very fond memory is riding around the block on the back of his Harley! He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. May he rest in peace.
