It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gaston, loving father, Opa and Great-Opa who slipped away quietly at Valleyview Care Home.
He Leaves to mourn his son Wolfgang (Luann) and daughter Rita (Robert), daughter-in-law Susan, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Gaston was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Elfriede, and his second son Norbert.
Gaston was born in Stuttgart Germany, came to Canada in 1960 and lived a happy and full life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Special thanks to all of the staff at Valleyview Personal Care Home, Brandon, that took care of his needs.
As per Gaston's final wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral will be held. Gaston’s request that friends and family gather for a celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. For information contact Rita at 204-761-0577.
