FRANCES BARTESKI

October 22, 1926 - August 3, 2023

Our beloved mother, Frances, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2023, at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 96 years.



She was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Carolyn, brothers Henry, Bill, and John; sisters Sophie and Carrie; first husband Mike Twerdun; second husband Paul Barteski; son-in-law David Feuillatre and dear friend and companion Maurice Gagnon. Frances is lovingly remembered by her children Brian (Sylvia), Sylvia (David), Janet (Gary), Roger (Helena), Brenda (Gary); 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.



Mom was the cornerstone of our family and took immense pride in her children and their families. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing her adored her. She had a heart full of warmth and kindness for all who crossed her path. We will forever cherish the love and memories Mom gifted us. She will remain forever in our hearts.



In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a cause close to Mom's heart, the ALS Society of Manitoba, 1717 Dublin Ave., #2A, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0H2



Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place, Saturday August 12th 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery in Garson, Manitoba.
