Passed away at the Prairie View Lodge, Pilot Mound, MB, on Saturday August 5, 2023 at the age of 86 years, Lorne Edwin Gutscher, of Swan Lake, MB.
Lorne leaves to mourn his passing son Brian (Michelle) of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren, Victoria, Austin and Harrison; brother Wayne (Adeline) Gutscher of Killarney, MB; sister-in-law Doris Lauritsen of Redvers, SK; as well as extended relatives.
Lorne was predeceased by his wife Greta (nee Lauritsen) in 2014; his brother Norman in 2007 and his brother-in-law Bent Lauritsen in 2023.
Funeral service will take place in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 with Rev. Melanie Kauppila officiating. Visitation at the church prior to service. Burial to follow in the Swan Lake United Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Lorne’s memory to the Lorne Memorial Health Foundation, Box 40, Swan Lake, MB R0G 2S0 or to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, Unit 4B-457 9th St. Brandon, MB, R7A 1K2.
