Margaret F. Woods passed away peacefully with her daughter, Jeanine, by her side on December 31, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta. Margaret always said she wanted to live to be 100 years old and we celebrated her 100th birthday 10 days before her passing. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mel and her beloved daughter, Sandra. A Celebration of Life will be held for Margaret on August 18, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Airport West, 2520 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. My first full time job was working for Mel years ago at Swan River The Pas Transfer and had many occasions to socialise with Margaret and Mel. They kept in touch with the employees after their retirement and sale of their company and in fact, she hosted a barbeque at their home for all employees after the closure of the business by the new owners some time later. They were both so generous and thoughtful. I still have a photo of the two of them that she sent me from their trip to Disney World after their retirement and it makes me smile to remember how Margaret was the sweetest, most kindhearted woman I have ever met. - Posted by: Tammy Stark (friend) on: Aug 15, 2023
