OLIVE MARIE LOUISE GARAND
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olive Garand at the age of 84 years.
She leaves to mourn her children Lorraine (Ray) Hadden, Linda (Greg) Proch, Morris (Coreen), Wayne (Carmella), Deborah (Jake) Janzen, Bob (Nancy); 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and another on the way, and a first great-great-grandchild on the way.
Needless to say, our family gatherings were large . . . and she loved every minute of it! She will also be missed by her sister, Diane (especially when the Bombers play at home field), her brother Roland (Jeanine), sisters and brothers-in-law, and the community she was dedicated to. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Armand; her parents Anne and Frank Vandal; her sister Denise, and her granddaughter Tarah.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB. A private family interment of cremains will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to CancerCare of Manitoba on Olive’s behalf.
