On August 28, 2023, after a lengthy illness and a recent diagnosis of ALS, Pat passed away peacefully, at her home, at the age of 70 years.
Following Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 31, at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the ALS Society of Canada or Grandsn’more (The Stephen Lewis Foundation).

Pat was a delightful, happy, positive person who was often the key contact point for family members. Many years ago, she wrote a biography of our grandmother Eve Still that we all still use as family history. Pat spent hours interviewing Gramma, and wrote it up in a voice that perfectly echoed her own. My condolences to Bruno and family, who have lost a kind and courageous person who will long be remembered. So sorry to see that Pat passed away! We met about 20 yrs ago when Pat was a volunteer canvasser and zone leader for the Cancer Society's annual residential canvass! Gosh those were the days. I always looked forward to our annual conversations and her commitment to the cancer cause. Thinking of you with sympathy and sadness and wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead! Pat and I became friends many, many years ago when I lived on Leahcrest Cres and Pat’s and our children attended Maples Nursery School. Unfortunately when we moved out of the Maples, we lost touch.
