Many year ago Pat and I played basketball against each other and then on the same team with the RCAF. A very strange thing happened one day I went down to the recruiting office and there sat Pat. Neither of us knew we were planning on joining the navy. We had lots of good times. I also remember a time when Pat's boyfriend got killed in a car accident. He was from the country and we went out to visit his parents, from my understanding they were about to get engaged. I remember one incident on New Years Day Levy as we were going from HMCS Chippawa to the Airforce base we were stopped by the police. He took one look inside of Pat's car, saw of car full of wrens and let us go. How lucky we were. We laughed about it many times. Pat was a bridesmaid at Jim and my wedding. She will be missed. - Posted by: Alice Taylor (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2023

I got to know Pat in our ladies golf league at Windsor Park. She always was a pleasure to be around. Levelled headed with a great sense of humour. She was kind, considerate just a great human to be around. Hopefully she has found a great golf course wherever she is! - Posted by: Lisa B (Friend) on: Sep 14, 2023

I knew Pat as a kind person and as wise and strong leader. I will always have good memories of Pat as a Chief Petty Officer while we served together in HMCS CHIPPAWA. Pat always gave good advice and was a respected senior leader. She will be missed, but heaven now has a good Chief to sort things out properly. - Posted by: Mark Nelson (Colleague) on: Sep 08, 2023
