Edward Leslie Major of Russell, MB, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 78 years.
Ed is survived by his wife Mary of Birtle, daughter Melissa (Keith) Farquhar of Birtle and their children Genesis, Adriel, Lailah and Charlie. He is also survived by his brothers, Braden Whitworth of Winnipeg, MB, Marty (Loretta) Nordstrom of Coaldale, AB, Robert Nordstrom of Lethbridge, AB, and sister Shirley (Lyle) Kelly of Gladstone, MB.
The funeral service will he held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the Russell Alliance Church with Pastor Barry Buhler officiating. Interment will follow in the Birtle Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Russell Alliance Church Benevolent Fund or a charity of their choice. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.braendlebrucefs.ca Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service of Russell are in care of arrangements. (204)773-2747
