On Monday, August 28, 2023, Frederick Albert Merrett passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years. He was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on May 9, 1924. Fred was predeceased by his parents and brothers, John and Leonard. He is survived by his loving wife Amy; his sons, Fred and Nick, and daughters, Marilyn and Sandra; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Callingwood Road Presbyterian Church, 6015-184 Street in Edmonton, on Saturday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m.
