It is with extreme sorrow that the family of Linda announce her passing on September 6, 2023, at the age of 68. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile.

Linda had a passionate love affair with food, especially seafood from the Atlantic Ocean. Linda travelled extensively and experienced life in many corners of the earth. Golf, curling, swimming, fishing, eating, reading, were just some of her hobbies. Linda worked in the food industry for over 30 years of her working life, then as a superintendent in Calgary, then in Winnipeg with Wayne until the last few months.

Linda had a big heart, loving spirit, quick witted and quite funny with her instant comebacks. Linda was always caring and loving towards everyone.



Linda was predeceased by Dad, Oliva Dufour in 2015, and Mom, Geralda Dufour in 2016.

Linda will be sadly missed by her partner Wayne, and her siblings, Louise (Marc); Denise (Herb), Tara, Tyler, Jordan, Jack; Jodie (Jonathon), Nate, Luke; Jeannette (Jerry), Charlene (John), Madison, Jessica, Riley; Claudette, Kristy, Logan, Brad (Cathy); Claude, Michael, Chad (Jeanie) Kaylene, Sophia, Max; Jean-Paul (Sabrina), Zareah; Mona (Brant); and all her cousins, friends and neighbours.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and health care workers with Palliative Care and same with Riverview Health Centre.

Linda's spirit and love will live in our hearts forever. We will miss you very much Linda. Until we meet again.

A private interment will take place at a later date.
