Guenter was a great friend to me and my family. We enjoyed many fun and interesting times at the lake while our families grew up together. One was the yearly 'putting the water in together'! He was always there for me if I needed advice or help with something. Truly a great friend, and I still often miss him and think of him when I am at the lake. I walked up the 'gitch trail' (not sure who named it that), this past weekend with friends, and I thought of Guenter, how we used to hunt up that trail many times.It bought a smile to my face.
