Five Years
In the blink of an eye
five years have come and gone.
If we had known that the last time
was truly the last time...
We would have,
Talked longer on the phone,
Lingered longer over dinner.
Not left things unsaid, thinking there would be a next time.
Five years, 60 months,
260 weeks, 1825 days
Whether it’s 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years.
You will always be in our hearts
and forever missed.
