  • Marlene (and family), I am so very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such a sweet and caring man. I have many memories of the stories he would share as we rode the bus together to and from work for a number of years. And enjoyed stopping by his place for a visit with him and Marguerite when Robyn and I would be out biking. I've thought of him often, and he will be truly missed. My deepest condolences to you and your family. - Posted by: Brenda Behlke (Friend, co-worker) on: Oct 01, 2023

  • Hello Marlene and family. I am very sorry about the loss of your father. I can remember his laugh and joke making as well as his serious side. I am sure that you have lots of great memories that you can call on to deal with your loss. My condolences to your entire family. Be well. - Posted by: Philip Townsend (Friend of the family) on: Oct 01, 2023

  • I was quite saddened to read of John's passing. I knew John from within the insurance industry way back, even prior to MPI. I was with Royal Exchange prior to the merger with Guardian and we were both members of the Blue Goose. John was one of 'good guys' who people enjoyed being around, and was highly regarded personally and professionally. My deepest condolences go to his family. Your dad was the greatest.
