BERNARD (BERNIE) JEAN-BAPTISTE JOSEPH DESORCY

June 18, 1944 – September 17, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard Jean-Baptiste Joseph Desorcy, on

September 17, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Bernie is survived by his children, Jennifer (Trent), Greg (Pam), grandchildren, Colin (Katrina), Taylor

(Tony), Keagyn (Colby), Bethanie (Jack), Wyatt (Abbie), Greyson, Madelyn, Saraya and Georgia, mother of

his children, Lucille, siblings, Jean (Kathleen), Jacqueline, Gerald (Cindy), Rose-Marie, Andre (Gail),

Henriette (Marcel), Chantal (Ron) and brother-in-law, Don.

He was predeceased by his son Laurent (Larry), parents Jacques and Laurette, sister Rachel and brother-in-law,

Ray, sister Michelle and brother-in-law Denis.

A joint funeral service for Bernie and Larry will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Christ

Our Saviour Catholic Parish, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach.

Our family wishes to express our thanks for everyone’s kind words and support during this difficult time.
