• Fiona meant the world to me. I remember when I found out about her passing and it was devastating. Her light was dimmed far too early, although it lives on in her family and in the legacy she left. I miss her and think of her often. My youngest daughter did not have a name for 11 days and then.....we chose Fiona's middle name, Ashlin. Ashlin is 10 now, and she is a dancer, not a highland dancer, but she is half Irish! She does all other methods of dance, but I have told her all about you Fiona, and how beautifully you used to dance at Folklorama. I will always remember your beautiful smile, your infectious laughter, your artistic talent, your warm spirit and your sparkle. I'm so happy that my daughter has one of your names, I hope somehow, somewhere, you know that it was chosen in honour of you.
