  • Condolences on your loss, Robert. You won't likely remember me, but around 1974 or so we met at your folks' cottage at Malachi. Your dad had a bit of a bad back, and your mother thanked me for putting you up on my shoulders to throw you into the water over and over. I last saw your father and mother in 1978 in Sioux Lookout. Both my wife Leona and I have many, many fond memories of your father and mother and their generosity in "taking us in" to be part of your family at the lake. I worked for your father at Symington for several years and those were some of my most memorable times while I was with CN. Take solace at this time of your life to cherish the wonderful times with Jackie. - Posted by: MURRAY BROWN (Friends of your father and mother) on: Oct 08, 2023

  • A shock to learn of Jackie’s passing. Jasper being small it’s common to be at the same social gathering as throughout the years I’d find I was with Jackie. Jackie was always outgoing and friendly. She made time to chat and inquire of one’s wellbeing. A lovely person. My condolences to Jackie’s family. So very sorry for your loss.
