  • So sorry Robin to hear of Craig’s passing. It sure was a pleasure curling with Craig - and all the get togethers we had during the curling seasons. Craig was always upbeat and positive and “chatty” - and kept all of us on our toes during games. He was also the same on the golf course. Very entertaining! We will have Craig in our hearts forever. • Just heard the news of his passing today. I am absolutely stunned. I was fortunate enough to call Craig and Robin friends when I lived in Winnipeg. I remember their miniature Lassie dogs. He always treated me with respect and I felt he was a positive man always with a smile on his face. My thoughts are with you Robin. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug. He was a good man. I am very sorry. - Posted by: Scott Robert Jason Wermie (Friend) on: Oct 09, 2023

  • Dearest Robin (and family)... Wayne and I cannot adequately express the sadness we feel at this time. Robin, we are so thankful for the multitude of happy and fun memories we hold in our hearts of our times together with you and Craig (and Glenda and Blaine).... as the "Back Page News Gang", the intrepid "Hikers and Campers" and the "Desert People" during the 90's and beyond...our friendship goes back such a long way. Craig was so often the instigator of our quirky and hilarious antics and we all loved him for his spontaneity and creativity. He was our inspiration to be silly and lighthearted and we followed his example in good stead. He was always generous with his time and had an openness and curiosity about so many things. All those who were fortunate to have shared his life with him will have immense respect and admiration for the special person he was. May all of the wonderful memories provide sustenance for you as you navigate this very difficult time.
