Michael passed away suddenly on September 25, 2023, at his residence in Winnipeg. He is survived by siblings Joe (Carol), Bill (Susan), Bernie (Louise), Joyce (Thomas) Putt, and Dennis (Elke); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Josephus van Wissen on June 20, 2006 and his mother Baukjen “Alice” van Wissen on April 26, 2011.
Michael cherished his love for family and for every friend. He was a loving brother and will be deeply and forever missed by his family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
