With her family at her side, mom passed peacefully October 11, 2023.
She was predeceased by her first husband Stanley Drowsy and her second husband, her soulmate, Donald Joseph Grymaluk. Left to cherish her memory were her sons, Scott Quantrell, Grant Drowsy (Maureen), Jarod Grymaluk; daughter Nadeen Desmarais (Rolly); grandchildren, Tyler Drowsy, Garyt Drowsy, Riley Desmarais (Halley) and Kendell Desmarais. Mom also had special relationships with dearest sister-in-law Maureen Grymaluk, Michelle, Julie and Cara; and special friends, Cris and Margaret.
Mom loved travelling and her and Don found their special place wintering in Puerta Vallarta and made many close friends there, Judy, Fran and Tom, and many others.
Mom was grateful for all the support, shared memories, and kindness shown to her during her final days and thankful to all the staff at Concordia Hospital (Esp, Flo).
Wilma (mom) will be remembered as being one of a kind, and a mother to all our friends growing up and all through the years.
In lieu of flowers, mom wished we be kind to others and be a positive influence in someone’s life. It will make the world a better place, as she did.

To the family, my deepest condolences. Your Mom was such a bright light in so many people's lives. Mine included. She never let me forget how I hid on her when she was babysitting me as a youngster and had her panicked for hours! I won't forget her contagious laugh and how genuine her expression was as she was truly enjoying life and the people in it she truly loved and valued. She was a valued and great friend to my Mom, Lois, and she has always been a part of my life and offered her perspective to help me through some tough times since. I was grateful to have maintained a friendship with her after Mom and Dad's passing. She was truly one of a kind and I will miss seeing her on my trips into Winnipeg, greatly. My heart is heavy today but I know her bright spirit would want us to move on with love and kindness and most importantly laughter and joy. - Posted by: Shannon West (family friend) on: Oct 22, 2023
