Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I was saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. We were friends in high school at TCI and spent much time together on school activities and hanging out. We also enjoyed summers at the Canoe Club and winters at the Badminton Club. Many great memories of our younger years. She will be missed. Jean - Posted by: Jean Hanson (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2023

  • My prayers and love to the Verasky family and friends who loved her and Mr.Verasky ((hugs)) dear Patti. Your mom was a special lady and I hold good memories of so many “chats” and laughter. Be assured of my prayers and gratitude for your mom. Peace, Koreen & family xo - Posted by: Koreen Hrizai (Kichak) (Friend) on: Nov 19, 2023

  • So very sorry to hear about Linda's passing. Bill and I were boyhood friends and he showed his good taste when he asked Linda to be his bride. They were a lovely couple and great friends all these years. She had a quick wit and an infectious laugh. We were lucky to have them in our lives and they will be missed. Our sympathy to the Verasky Family. John and Marge Mirus. - Posted by: John Mirus (Friend) on: Nov 02, 2023

  • Linda and Bill were good friends to us, from when our children began school together and through many years afterwards. They were always generous - with food and with their friendship, and will be missed so very much. Linda was the most amazing cook and had many handicraft talents also - I will think of her often. Our sympathies go out to all the family. - Val and Tim - Posted by: Val and Tim Hastings (Friends) on: Oct 31, 2023

  • We are so sorry for your loss. Linda will be so missed. It was a privilege and pleasure to have known her and have had her in our lives. She just loved and spoiled the kids (and pups!) while they chatted with her about their day, laughing together. She always brought an instant smile to our faces and our memories together will continue to do the same. I will especially miss our chats, our window waves and phone calls to come chase the darn hawk out of the tree. Thank you for being a part of our family, for loving us. It brings comfort to know you’re reunited with Bill. We miss you beyond measure. ‘til we meet again, my friend. - Posted by: Funk Family (Neighbour ) on: Oct 29, 2023

  • Condolences to the family...I lived across the street from Linda throughout my childhood and spent many, many hours at her home, playing in the yard and many sleepovers. We also celebrated the birth of our babies (Billy & Tracey) on the same day at the same hospital. She was definitely a bright light in a part of my life. - Posted by: Penny (Audette) Urbanowski (Childhood friend & neighbor) on: Oct 25, 2023

  • Linda & Bill were true ''Family'' Neighbours for 56 years. Celebrating parties with them was always the best way to get together. God Mother to our daughter Joy was an honor for her. We laughed, cried and enjoyed each other's company. She will be sadly missed by all. Rest in Peace Love you. Nancy Shelley Joy & Storey - Posted by: Nancy Drewniak (neighbour) on: Oct 21, 2023
