Janet’s family is deeply saddened to announce her passing on October 27, 2023 at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, after a brief illness.
Janet was predeceased by her parents, Val and Florence Criddle, her sister, Nancy, and brother David (in infancy). She is survived by her brother Dick and his wife Pat, and their children, Tom Criddle, Donna Criddle, David Criddle, and Jill Davies (Matt), many cousins in Saskatchewan and Winnipeg as well as her cousin David Criddle (Debby) who saw to her care over the past few years.
Janet worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg after training at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax. At the time of her retirement Janet was working as an OR nurse.
After cremation, Janet’s ashes will be interred in the family plot in the country church cemetery at Cotham, Saskatchewan.
Janet has requested that no formal service be held; a private family interment will be held at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, Janet’s family suggests that you may consider a gift to the Cotham Cemetery Fund, c/o Cornerstone Credit Union, P.O. Box 1210, Yorkton, SK S3N 2X3.

So many memories of Jan. I helped her find some of her English Cockers and groomed them. I have so much artwork of Jan's. She and my husband used to get together and he would woodwork something and she would paint it. We have all lost a very special lady.
