RAYMOND WADDELL JOHNSTON
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Raymond Johnston on October 16, 2023 after a brief struggle, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 66 years.
Born in Selkirk, Manitoba on August 2 1957, Ray was our brother (Wilfrid and Jacqueline, Carol, Valorie, Chenoa, Patrick and Donna, Charlie and Sarah) and uncle to Heather, Shaunavon, Rika, Rian, Darryl, Stefan, Christine, Terri-Lynne, Jeffrey, Nikolas, Seah, Crystal, Alexander, Nathaniel, Sachelle, Corbin, Maslen and Patrick.
Predeceased by the love of his life, Cathy Williams (missing 1988) and parents, Stan (2002) and Mildred (2006), siblings, Heather (1955), William (1964), and Dorothy (1989).
Ray was a proud welder, an avid biker and loved his Harley FatBoy. He had many adventures with his illustrious circle of friends- his second family. It was a helluva ride wasn't it Schwanzie!
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17 at the Transcona Royal Canadian Legion Branch 7, 117 Regent Avenue East, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
