Barry was one of my dad's best friends (Gary Marantz) and my dad's best man in 1964. I remember him for scrabble games with dad and Shirley-Anne, and his quiet, friendly, jovial personality. Barry believed less is more (my take, anyway). He came to my bar mitzvah in New York in 1981. I have a great framed photo of Barry, Neil Chernick, and dad shooting pool. I'll miss him, even though we had minimal contact since I was a young man. Belated condolences to the Monique and the Klapmans. - Posted by: Dylan Marantz (Friend) on: Feb 08, 2025
