  • I am deeply saddened by the passing of your father. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May you find solace in the cherished memories you shared and the love and support of your family and friends. Nancy Hicks, Kelowna, BC - Posted by: Nancy Hicks (Family friend ) on: Dec 10, 2023

  • To the Reimer Family, Please accept our deepest condolences. Dr. Reimer will be truly missed. He was such a blessing to so many people and ministries including our Athletes in Action Winnipeg Pro Ministry which he generously supported for many years. His missionary vision for Winnipeg was exemplary. Sorry we were unable to attend the celebration of life as I was away with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for Grey Cup. We will be praying for peace and comfort for you as you go through this very difficult time. God bless, love and prayers, Lorne and Heather Korol - Posted by: Lorne and Heather Korol (Ministry Partners) on: Nov 27, 2023

  • I only met and knew Dr. Reimer for a period of time in dialysis. He was quite the character in the room and kept the nurses on their toes. Take it easy on those angels. We watched him slowly deteriorate after he lost his wife, Anne. I am sorry to hear of his passing and may he RIP. I wish the family comfort and strength during this time. - Posted by: Judy wach (Dialysis aquaintance) on: Nov 23, 2023

  • It is with sadness and a heavy I learnt of the passing of Mr. Don Reimer. We all hoped this fine gentleman would make the 100 but the Lord, Jesus Christ called him to return home. I met him a few times when he would visit Elmer Schwartz at Western Canada / APEX Motor Express at Concord Ontario and when he attended our gala Management meetings.. He was comical and never displayed himself as the owner of the Group of Companies. He was a humble man and a good man. The industry has lost a pioneer. My sincere condolences to his family and to all the staff at Reimer World in Winnipeg and to WCE, Apex and CCT employees and all other divisions he played a major part in. God bless this great gentleman for his leadership and his pious Christian Devotion. Rest in Peace Sir and thank you for being part of your team. I still have that large basket of goodies you sent me a few years ago. - Posted by: Arshad Mohammed (Pass employee ) on: Nov 19, 2023

  • To the Reimer Family: As the youngest child and only daughter of Edgar and Ellen Penner, I would like to pass along our family condolences for your loss - and some memories. Don and Anne Reimer were Best Man and Maid of Honour for my parents wedding, and were best friends at that time. My parents told us numerous stories of Reimer Express and their connection in their early years in Steinbach. Earlier this year, my parents had several conversations with Don and Anne and were so thankful to continue their connection with them. Don had wanted to fly out to visit them, but was not able to do so due to various reasons. Your parents were well respected by our family and we would like to pass along our thanks to the Reimer family for the friendship extended by your parents over the many years, The generations change but we hope to maintain the historical connection to our family roots and the hard work that our parents invested in their respective legacies. - Posted by: Angela Meier (Family Friend) on: Nov 18, 2023

  • "Dr. Don" as we liked to call him, was a dear friend of the Jessiman family. He was a kind and generous man who loved his wife and family dearly, and was a man of deep and everlasting faith. His business career was exceptional, as was his long history of philanthropic giving. Our condolences to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will certainly be missed. • DS Reimer had a huge part in our families life. Both my dad (Dave Hildebrand) and I were proud employees of Reimer Express. Over my 37 years at REL there were many interactions with him. He portrayed life as a Christian man and led the company under clear guidelines in all areas. I hold onto all the memories of many years as an employee of such a great company, led by him. Condolences to the family and all that are impacted. - Posted by: David Paul Hildebrand (Employee ) on: Nov 15, 2023

  • We offer our sincere condolences to the Reimer family. We will always fondly remember our time spent having dinners with Anne and Don at their home and at YPO affairs. It has been a privilege to know them both. Rest in peace our friend. Anna and Lyle - Posted by: Anna & Lyle Silverman (Friend) on: Nov 15, 2023
