GARRY (KENNETH) LUMBARD
Our beloved Garry (Kenneth) Lumbard, passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 80, with his loving wife Shirley Lumbard (Ring) of 57 years at his side.
Dear father to Chris (Michelle) and Ryan (Alison) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Sabrina, and Addison.
He will be deeply missed by his brother Reid (Linda) and sisters-in-law Rosalie and Joyce, and many nieces and nephews in Manitoba and across Canada and the United States. Predeceased by brothers Bob and Jack, and sister Betty Ann Relf (Ray).
Garry grew up in Brandon, and moved to London to start his career at Canada Trust dealing with wills and estates. He later left Canada Trust Windsor to work for McTague Law Firm. After he retired, he continued to help many lawyers with estate files right up until his passing.
Garry was a master gardener of his yard, one of his passions, along with his love of curling. Well-known and regarded in the curling community, his presence and recollection of game shots will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, we would ask you make donations the Canadian Cancer Society (500 - 55 St Clair Ave. W. Toronto, Ontario M4V 2Y7), the Sick Kids Foundation (525 University Ave, Suite 835 Toronto, Ontario M5G 2L3), or to a charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held sometime in the spring of 2024.
