It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jesse Josiah Lewis on October 16, 2023, in Victoria, British Columbia.
Jesse was born in Digby, Nova Scotia on September 20, 1988, but spent the majority of his life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In his later years, he moved to Victoria, British Columbia, where he was happy to be closer to the mountains and waters in which he loved.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Lorie McCormick and Kevin Lewis, sisters, Shelby and Haley Lewis, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that are spread out coast to coast. Jesse was predeceased by his grandparents, Gil and Eleanor McCormick.
The family would like to thank Norm Decaire and the rest of his work family at Scotty's Manufacturing Ltd.
Cremation has been entrusted to Sands Funeral Chapel. Per the family's wishes, a private celebration of Jesse's life will be held at a later day.
