At 70 years old, it think I would be thought of as an adult. An adult should know what to say at a time like this, but I am not sure what I can say to take away the loss your family is feeling. As I think of what I can say, all I can think about is Dalene's smile and out going nature. We would go long periods of time without seeing Tony and Dalene, but within seconds she made Cindy and I feel welcome and worthy. Dalene always took time to ask about how we were doing and how are kids are doing. I remember meeting Tony and Dalene in the Honolulu airport- we were leaving and they were just arriving. We had a short conversation and we went to catch out plane. Walking to the plane I just remember the good feeling I had after talking to the Didoshaks. And that was the way it was with Dalene and Tony you did not have to see them every day, but every time you talked with them was a special occasion. You left feeling good about yourself and realizing how lucky you were to have their friendship. That is what I will always remember about Dalene. - Posted by: Doug Krochak (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2023
