On November 12, 2023, Gerry, of Qualicum Beach, BC, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Hospital. She was 90 years old.
Gerry leaves behind her beloved husband Ken of 42 years; her children, Marlene (Lyle) Parnell, Jodi (Ted) Gauthier, Brett (Nancy) Porth; eight grandchildren, Robb, Kristen, Ryan, Kerri, Tyler, Maeghan, Nichole and Tara; three great-grandchildren, Rowin, Graye and Jaxxton; step-children, Robb (Cindy) Calthorpe and Trina (Kerry) Cianfone; step-grandchildren, Alison, Brendan, Johnathan and Jake.
Gerry (mom) loved her cottage at Lake of the Woods, her many dogs, golfing, curling, traveling and nature.
The family wishes to thank her doctors, Dr. Oravec and Dr. McIlwaine. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will occur in the future.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Gerry’s name.
