Dear Rick, Ken, and June. We very sorry to hear of Mort's passing. Though it has been a numbers of years since we all last visited, we truly appreciated the times Mort and you boys would make the journey up the Yellowhead Highway to visit us in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Lot's of laughs from stories that Mort and Harry would tell. Even after us boys grew up and started own lives, Mort would still make yearly visit by himself. I had lots fun driving around Edmonton with Mort and Harry trying to keep them out of mischief. Just imagine me at 27 years younger than Mort trying to keep him and my Dad inline. Those are cherished memories. "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose." Our deepest condolences, Bryan Holigroski & Josephine Holigroski - Posted by: Bryan Holigroski (Cousin) on: Nov 27, 2023

It is so difficult to let go of someone who made lifes journey so completely pleasurable to be with. Gentle, kind and caring are the best words to describe the person we knew, and will remember. While their table welcomed all , you were guaranteed several good belly laughs that lifted your hearts until the next encounter. He and his wife worked so well together , making a wonderful life and retirement together... as they watched your family and gardens grow. Too soon failing health took you away, but I know you are still smiling as you continue to watch over us. - Posted by: Leslie Shumila (Youngest brother) on: Nov 26, 2023
