MIKE (MILAN) STEPIC

1933-2023

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father on November 18 at the age of 90, a mere 18 days after his wife passed. Jim (Hilda), Sonja (Guy) and Duane (Tanya), along with their families, are saddened by the loss of this legend, but are also happy that their parents are reunited again. We are still baffled by the chain of events that led us to this point, but we take solace in knowing they are rejoicing together in heaven with Jesus.

We will take some time now to grieve the loss of our parents and will plan a joint Celebration of Life in early 2024. In keeping with our father’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A longer obituary will follow closer to the date of the service. We miss you both so much already.

  • Dear Jim Sonja and Duane and families We are so saddened to hear of Mike’s and Mary’s passing especially being so close together in time. We enjoyed many nice times as neighbours at the lake chatting with them and all of you. We will never forget the barbecue at your cottage when the famous Gull Lake tornado appeared.. We all scattered but thank goodness no one was hurt May the knowledge that they are together comfort you . • Our deepest sympathy to Jim, Sonja and Duane on the loss of your father, Mike and your mother, Mary. We will always treasure in our hearts our visit with your mom and dad at their residence at Devonshire Place. We enjoyed good conversation, laughter and a sincere feeling of love. Aunty Mary was so happy to share her photos of her family and Uncle Mike was proud to tell us of how he started up in the painting business. We will forever cherish their memory. Love, Jeannie and Gary. - Posted by: Jeannie Ruczak (Niece) on: Nov 25, 2023
