Janice passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on November 18, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Janice will be greatly missed and remembered with love by her family and friends. She is survived by her sister Doreen (Maurice) Muloin; daughters, Shirley, Cheryl, Debra (Jason) Dow, Tracy (Dan) Minkley; and grandchildren, Megan, Brooke, Brendan, Madison, Quin, Eva, Jax. She was predeceased in 2000 by her loving husband Ray.
Janice was born to Arthur and Marjorie Starr in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she met Ray, then married him in 1962. They moved first to Beaconsfield, Quebec in 1968, and then to North Saanich, British Columbia in 1972 where they raised their family and Janice worked for many years as a crossing guard. In 2007 Janice moved to Sidney. She lived a happy life filled with family, friends, and dogs, and will remain in our hearts forever.
Many thanks to those who provided care to Janice during her struggle with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's.
