Date of Passing: Nov 22, 2023
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLEN A. THOMPSON
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allen Thompson of Winnipeg on November 22, 2023.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jamie Lee, Amber and Stormi as well as the two grandchildren he raised, Makayla and Sara-Lynne. He is also survived by his brother Jim (Leslie), many grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Al came across as a gruff man but under that was a heart of gold. He gave freely of himself what he had to offer and was always willing to lend a helping hand or give advice.
His family meant the world to him and they will miss him dearly. They will fondly remember his teasing ways, his love for his family and friends, the mustache he refused to shave, as well as his love of putting ketchup on everything as well as so many more things that made him who he was. Most especially he will be remembered for his advice on life, guidance and never-ending support and unconditional love.
Rest easy dad, for you truly deserve the peace you have been praying for. We will treasure you in our hearts always.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will take place in the spring.

I'll always remember Allan as a dedicated creative parent who came to Robertson School to help many of us as we embarked on school and classroom art projects. He was kind, funny and made the students feel like whatever they were doing was spectacular. My condolences to Stormi, Amber, Lee and your family.
