It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Harold Paul Courchene, our father, grandfather, great and great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, respected elder and friend, on December 2, 2023, at the age of 80 years.
He is reunited in the spirit world with his one and only son Lance Courchene, parents, Walter and Martina Courchene, grandchildren, Brianne and Animkii, brothers, Jimmy, Abel, Sheldon and Garry; sisters, Patsy, Marge and Valerie. Harold will be missed by his wife Rita Courchene (nee Twoheart); daughters, Roxanne, Alicia, Myra and adopted daughter Milli; grandchildren, Nathan, Candace (Donnie), Dale, Lance, Tristan (Melody), Seth, Marcus and Courtney; great and great-great-grandchildren; surviving brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was known to always say “Be Happy.”
Traditional wake service is being held at his residence 50117 South Shore Rd., Sagkeeng, MB, December 5 to 7, 2023; funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with final viewing at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
