To Louise, Penny, Fay, Jeff, and Laird. What a beautiful picture of your mom in the notice of her death in the paper! She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and always greeted me with a smile. I also loved her laugh…very distinctive!! So many memories of your mom…especially times at Westhawk. One story I was told is of Connie and Lois (my mom) going into a bathroom together at a local beach. They went into the men’s washroom by mistake, and never having seen urinals before, thought they were sinks to wash the sand off their feet. Then apparently a man came into the bathroom and they hi-tailed it out of there laughing uncontrollably. Love that story!! I will miss your mom, and will always think fondly of her. My condolences to all of you on the loss of a great lady. Thinking of you, and all the memories our families have shared…Love, Karen - Posted by: Karen (Johnson) McDougall (Family friend) on: Jan 14, 2024

My thoughts to Laird, his family and all his siblings. I lost my mom some years ago. I’m the youngest of 5 kids. Kind of sounds familiar. My mom was also an amazing woman holding it all together. A healthcare provider but foremost a Mom. - Posted by: Bruce Buelow (Friend of son) on: Dec 11, 2023

Our sincere condolences to Louise Penny Fay Jeff and Laird. Your mother was always cool calm and collected even when one or two of us showed up for her other worldly pancakes as if she didn’t have enough mouths to feed. Know that you were blessed to have her in your lives and cherish the memories - Posted by: Burr brothers 451 (Neighbors) on: Dec 10, 2023

I was saddened to read of Connie’s passing and extend my sincere condolences to all of the family. I have such wonderful memories of babysitting Connie and Harry’s beautiful children as well as teaching a couple of them at Munroe Junior High School. I remember and admired the twinkle in Connie’‘s eyes and her lovely, vivacious spirit. She always projected such a happiness. I know her legacy of love, and joie de vivre will live on in her family. My heart felt sympathy to all of you! May all of your treasured memories help to ease your great loss and do find comfort knowing Connie’s beautiful spirit lives on. - Posted by: Linda(Peters)Boughton (Family, babysitter, and friend) on: Dec 09, 2023
