It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Jerry Courchene, on December 27, 2023, at the age of 64 years.
Jerry will be missed by his loving wife Diane, daughter Geraldine, grandchildren, Justice (David), Seth, Robert, Denise, Kadence, Quintin, Freedom and Jerilynn (Kelvin), great-grandchildren, Sayora, Lavinia, Amiela, Nathaniel and baby girl Aria, his siblings, Wilfred, Joan, Larry, Ilene, Beverly, Dennis, David (Jackie), Clifford (Jackie), Randall (Theresa), Norman (Michelle), and Pearlvis (Joe), numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Pervis and Freda Courchene, his loving son David Guimond, sister Cynthia, nephews, Corey, Raymond and Nicolas Courchene, godmother Theresa Courchene and cousin Eliza Courchene.
Wake service is being held at his residence 36 Wolves Street, Sagkeeng, MB, December 29, 2023 to January 2, 2024; funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Church on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
