MARCY AURELLIA MAY THOMAS
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marcy Aurellia May Thomas, who left this earthly realm on December 28, 2023, to join the spirits of her ancestors. Born on December 3, 1979, Marcy brought light and joy to all who knew her.
One of Marcy's greatest loves was going to Black Lake with her family. Even after becoming a mother, she continued this tradition with her children as often as she could. This past summer, she was thrilled to have been able to make one more trip, which brought her immense joy.
Marcy's presence was a beacon of happiness, her smile radiant and infectious, lighting up every room she entered. She cherished her family above all else, finding her greatest joy in their love and presence. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in their lives.
Marcy leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her loving parents, Ron and Virginia (Mickey) Thomas, her beloved children, Braden and Aliyah, her brothers Jason (Jen), Ron Jr., and her sisters, Crystel and Brandie. As well as nieces and nephews Lysander, Merrick, Callin, Kendra and Ali.
The family would also like to thank her Aunty Sharon and Uncle Glenn, Uncle Joe, Uncle Junior and Aunty Joann and Uncle Tony and Aunty Kay for all their support. They would also like to thank Marcy’s best friends Kelly and Dave, for all their help during this difficult time. Additionally, they express their gratitude to Aunty Jade from Peguis for her guidance and love.
A celebration of Marcy's life will be held in the spring, where family and friends will come together to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Care MB Foundation in Marcy's honor.
Marcy's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. May she rest in eternal peace.

You may not remember us but our daughter Kelly Thomas hung around with Marcy. We lived on Foley Street and on Archibald Street. We loved having Marcy around. She was always smiling and bringing her cheer into our home. We are very sorry for your loss.
