MARJORIE AMY SCHELLENBERG


Marjorie Amy Schellenberg (nee Dyck) passed away peacefully at Bethania PCH,Winnipeg, on January 3, 2024, at the age of 95.



She was predeceased by her husband Peter K. Schellenberg and her second husband David I Friesen, her son Howard Schellenberg, her granddaughter Corinne Schellenberg, and her brothers Jacob Dyck, John Alvin Dyck, and Gerald Dyck.



She is survived by her children Ted Schellenberg (Dianne), Irma Charney (Bruce), Tony Schellenberg (Karen), Audrey Siemens (Al), and Tim Schellenberg (Michele), four stepchildren, 11 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.



Public viewing, a short service, and interment at Rosenfeld Good Neighbour Centre (262 Main Street) and Rosenfeld Cemetery on January 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service on April 21, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bethel Mennonite Church in Winnipeg.



Marjorie will be remembered for her love of life, music, her faith, and mostly how she cherished spending time with her family and friends.



In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mennonite Central Committee of Manitoba or Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation.
