  • Bob and family - I was very much saddened to hear about Judy's passing. We were friends from our days at Isaac Newton Junior High School and were in the same classroom for Grades 8 & 9. I remember Judy well as a quiet spoken, kind, gracious and thoughtful person. We were good friends and part of a group that spent time together, not only academically, but socially as well. We attended each others birthdays. I particularly recall our Gr. 9 Farewell party where our group of 13 or 14 gathered in a friend's basement, decorated with balloons and streamers. We ate, danced a lot and laughed even more. Judy was fun to be with. Later on, our paths crossed at university and we shared our interests in teaching. Time passes, but good memories such as this remain forever. Our deepest condolences to you Bob, Darren, and the rest of your family. - Posted by: Lucy and Richard Dooley (Calgary, AB) (Friends) on: Jan 17, 2024

  • Bob…condolences at the loss of Judy. We have so many wonderful memories of times the two of you spent with us in Florida. She was always game for an adventure, especially if it involved shopping. Good memories of times in Winnipeg, enjoying the shade and the view, under your front tree, with a cool drink in hand, sharing stories and laughs. Judy was always there with her warm smile, friendly chatter, and optimistic comments. Her presence in our lives, whether through visits or emails will be missed. Thinking of you and your family during this trying time, wishing you happy memories of Judy, a wonderful wife, mother and friend. Sincerely, Bruce and Joan Riddoch. - Posted by: Joan and Bruce Riddoch (Friends) on: Jan 17, 2024
