Peacefully on December 20, 2023, Laurie or uncle Joe as fondly known by many, passed away with Linda, his wife of 53 years by his side.
A private interment and Celebration of Life has already taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Assiniboine Park Zoo, 2595 Robin Blvd, Winnipeg, R3R 2N7 or Park West Manor Personal Care Home, 3199 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3R 1X2.

Laurie my friend you will be fondly missed. We had many years playing together as well as school buddies. Both of us were the same age and both of us had older brothers. We spent many years as next door neighbours and I really enjoyed going to the Granite Curling Club. Our paths crossed over the years but I had moved to Calgary and we lost touch.
