I have SO many fond memories of Helen. I have always called her aunty Helen not only out of respect but because she was so loving and caring. Auntie Helen was an Amazing woman that would go out of her way to make us all laugh with her witty humour, and when I came over she would always feed me and I didn’t dare say no , she got that talent from her mom (auntie joey ! They are probably telling jokes and laughing as we speak! Her husband Al stood by her side every min of the day from day 1 I will miss her more than words can explain - Posted by: 𝓢𝓱𝓪𝔀𝓷 𝓚𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓮𝓬𝓴𝓲 (Cousin) on: Jan 22, 2024

I'm very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very special and good friend to my mom (Carol) for many many years. I dropped in on occasion to see Helen after my mom's passing, and she was always smiling and happy to see me. I'm sure they are both laughing together again. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Joanne Ewbank (Moms friend) on: Jan 16, 2024

So sad to say farewell to my old friend. The one I have shared my trials and tribulations and secrets with for so many years. Especially all the hilarious antics that resulted in underwear mishaps. Oh how we could laugh! So sorry to all her family, who always came first in her life. Rest in peace Helen. You were so loved, we will think of you often. - Posted by: Doreen and Tom Bray. One of my life's true treasures, I worked with Helen at Polet Lumber 35 years ago and a group of us stayed in touch and met irregularly for brunch until covid got in the way. Helen had a wit and sense of humour unrivaled by many and a sense of style that only added to her charm. Sincere condolences to Al and the girls. I will treasure her memory all of my days. Go Girl! Keep them roaring! - Posted by: Jim Walker (Friend and co-worker) on: Jan 13, 2024
