GERI COLE

December 17, 1949 - December 20, 2023

                      In Loving Memory

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Geri Cole (nee Swayze) of Ottawa, Ontario. Geri was predeceased by her parents, Margaret Ellen (Peggy) Swayze and John Mervin Swayze.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Geri had a long career in the publishing industry before moving with her husband to Ottawa. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and a beacon of creativity, Geri's life was a testament to the beauty that can be found in love, family, and the artistry of the soul.

Geri was the cherished wife of Rick Cole, a loving mother to Heather Falk (Jason) and Brent Macdonald, a dear sister to Joan Hyatt (Tim). Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and her home was a haven filled with warmth, laughter, and the echoes of shared memories. Geri's love was a guiding light, and her presence brought immeasurable joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Geri's life will take place at a later date in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Geri's honour.
