Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I am truly sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. My deepest condolences to Daniel and David and families. I only remember the boys when they were young. Condolences to Doreen, Ted and Ken who I knew very well, growing up with the Dahlins on Clonard Avenue. So sorry I missed Donna’s funeral. She was always such a fun loving person and as straight forward as anyone could be. Although we lost touch over the years I thought of her often. Rest in peace dear friend. - Posted by: Brenda Grey (Friend) on: Jan 31, 2024

  • I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Donna. She was my late sister Maureen’s best friend growing up. We just lived across the back lane from each other. I was Maureen’s little sister and I would eavesdrop on her & Donna getting ready to head out or rehashing their previous nights adventures or travels. Maureen & Donna were always laughing. They were total opposites in stature but were true best friends. I wish Maureen could have lived long enough to enjoy sharing her two boys with Donna’s two boys as well as their grandchildren. My sympathies to the family for your loss. - Posted by: Lori Grapentine ( nee Johnson) (Family friend & old neighbour) on: Jan 28, 2024

  • The street is going to be kinda lonely without you waving as you drive by. Thanks for being our neighbour for all those years. - Posted by: graham stocker (neighbour) on: Jan 22, 2024

  • I had the privilege of being Donna's dentist for almost 20 years. I'm gonna miss her smile everytime she came to the office and her radiating positivity. Her happiness was infectious and she always brightened our day when she stopped by. My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to her family. - Posted by: Supinder Lotay (Dentist) on: Jan 20, 2024

  • I met Donna a few years ago and we had an instant connection. Conversation was easy with Donna and we had many great conversations and laughs. Her grandkids and sons were her world and when she spoke of them you could feel the love she had for them. I will miss her very much. My sincere condolences to the family as she will be dearly missed. RIP my friend, Love always Cathy - Posted by: Cathy Meissner (My daughters Mother in-law and a very close friend ) on: Jan 20, 2024

  • Eddie and I use to visit with your Mom and Dad in Ft Rouge. So many laughs and memories. We visited your Mom several times after your Dad passed. I am thinking of your families. Choose a Memory that brings a Smile to your hearts and Cherish them Always. Shirley Thomas - Posted by: Shirley Thomas (Neighbors) on: Jan 20, 2024

  • When we moved into our house I remember seeing Donna peeking trough the curtains to see her new Neighbour. It didn't take long for her to introduce herself. We would have chats on the step or over the fence in the backyard as our dogs would try to figure out if they liked one another. The boys & I would take turns mowing the front yard even though we never had a deal in place. Donna would be directing then what to do! My condolences to Daniel and David & family - Posted by: Leon (Neighbour) on: Jan 20, 2024
