If roses and orchids grow in Heaven
Please pick the most beautiful ones that anyone can find,
And place a bouquet in the arms of our dear beloved Joan
Telling her how much she meant to us, and was one of a kind.
Please also tell her that we love her and miss her
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss from us softly upon her cheek
Holding her gently for awhile.
She was a special lady and remembering her is what we do
Today, tomorrow and each day,
But there is a profound sadness and an ache within our hearts
That will never, ever go away.
Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
