LOREEN HELEN CIUPAK

Loreen Helen (Winding) Ciupak passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024 at home, at the age of 86.

Loreen was born in Winnipeg on July 21, 1937. She was predeceased by her brother Bill and father Alex Winding.

Left to cherish her memory are Theresa, Constance, Patricia (Anthony) and Gregory (Thaylin); loving grandchildren, Lauren (Jordan), Katrina, Jason, David, Michelle, Yvonne (Danial), Gregory Jr; great-children and many nieces and nephews. Mom grew up in East Kildonan with her mother, father and brother.

She married Greg Ciupak having four children and lived on Kildonan Drive, Mom always loved to cook, clean, entertain and take care of friends and family through out the years and even took care of family that were in need of help.

Mom was here to guide and direct our family the best she could, all she ever wanted in life was to be loved and cared for by her family.

During her last five years of her life at our house she received love, care and peace. We loved and comforted her by letting her know that she was appreciated for all what she has done for all of us in life. She will be in our hearts and she will be missed from our family. With her love and kindness, she will be missed by all the people who knew her.

We know that she is with Christ and she is reunited with loves ones.

Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery.

  • If Roses Grow in Heaven, By Dolores M. Garcia. If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away. - Posted by: Constance (Daughter) on: Feb 01, 2024
