Helen Isaak, originally from Springstein, MB, daughter of George and Helen Isaak, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Bethania Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, MB.
Cremation has taken place.
The memorial service for Helen Isaak will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB. Burial to take place at a later date at Springstein Cemetery, Springstein, MB.

I met Helen in 1964 when we were nurses taking a Diploma of Public Health at University of Saskatchewan. In those days, we walked to classes and Helen lived halfway between my home and the College of Nursing. So her porch was my 'warm up shelter' and then we walked on together. We followed one another for many years with Christmas greetings. Helen was always positive and she enjoyed her nursing career to the full. She was humble about her accomplishments in leadership. Helen represented Jesus well. She encouraged me in my fledgling faith. I am grateful to have known Helen and for her influence in the lives of many. She loved her family!
